Clubhouse and Amenities – Rating 7.46

This Mt. Pleasant course is one of Central Michigan’s top golf courses. It has good parking with a bag drop, above average carts and solid cart paths. The clubhouse is excellent, with a with a snack bar/grill in the back that has normal golf course menu selections and full bar beverages. Very nice apparel and equipment selection are available. Very good service and average pricing are found throughout.

Hole 1 – Par 5 – Rating 8.58

Hole 1 starts your round with large level tees. The flat fairway is framed with medium length rough and doglegs left around a beautiful water hazard. Well-maintained real sand bunkers and fringe are found here. Green is large, receptive and rolling. It runs at a fast speed.

Hole 2 – Par 4 – Rating 8.58

Medium size, level tees next to a water hazard left start this next hole. The rolling, downhill fairway is separated by a marshy stream as you approach the green. Rough is medium length and bunkers are real sand. Fringe is maintained. The medium sized green is fast but very receptive. It is also rolling with many breaks.

Level tees point you down this straight forward par 3. Bunkers are real sand and well-maintained. Medium rough and a maintained fringe are on this hole. The green is large, receptive, rolling and pretty fast.

Tee blocks are small and narrow, but level. There is a rolling, split fairway with medium length rough. Well-maintained real sand bunkers and fringe. The medium sixed green is quite fast and tricky on the breaks. It is also very receptive.

Medium sized, level tees are found on hole 5. A flat fairway doglegs slightly right with medium length rough and real and bunkers that are maintained. The fringe surrounds the large, fast green. Green is receptive and rolling.

The second half of fairway runs uphill.
