Clubhouse and Amenities – Rating 5.40
A short drive from Lansing, Pine Hills Golf Course in Laingsburg offers a clubhouse featuring a grill with a limited selection of golf course staples like burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and pre-packaged snacks. A full bar provides soda, beer, and liquor at average pricing. The pro shop carries an average selection of equipment, including golf balls, gloves, tees, markers, and divot tools, along with a limited selection of apparel such as caps, visors, and shirts. While the gravel parking lot has limited space and no bag drop, the clubhouse staff stands out with well-above-average service with great people, and the bathrooms are kept clean. Porta-johns are available on the course.
Golf carts are well-maintained despite some age, and cart paths, a mix of gravel and dirt, can be in rough shape in places. Pine Hills does a good job hosting golf outings and can accommodate special events and social gatherings. They have recently installed golf simulators featuring 18-hole Championship courses so the best golfers can hone their skills in the winter months.
