Maple Leaf Golf Course in Linwood, Michigan, not far from Bay City, provides a challenging yet relaxing golf experience with rounds of golf set against natural wooded land and generous landing areas. The course offers multiple sets of tees with the middle tee being the white tee, allowing players of different skill levels to tailor the experience, with the longest tees delivering a more demanding game with a total of 9,005 yards of golf for the 27-hole course. Water hazards strategically placed throughout add to the challenge, while the fairly fast greens require a thoughtful approach. All the slope ratings show a combination of challenge and forgiveness which makes it great for new golfers and senior citizens as well.

The course is in great condition for charity events, golf tournaments, and various office outings. The East Nine has the shorter distances, and the West Nine is the longest course with more wide-open landing areas. The North Nine has an island green which we consider the signature hole and is a great course for target golf though still a longer course being 3,046 yards from the tips. Overall, Maple Leaf Golf Course – MI is a beautiful course and quite the recreational facility and combines the beauty of its natural landscape with a layout designed to accommodate both seasoned players and those looking for a more relaxed round.
