Clubhouse and Amenities – Rating 7.83
The Fields Golf Course sits in the heart of the mid-Michigan area near Ithaca, Michigan, with easy highway access that makes arrival straightforward. The Clubhouse provides a grill that serves sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and pre-packaged snacks on a limited menu with value pricing, while a full bar offers beer, sodas, juices, energy drinks, and water at average drink pricing.
A limited apparel selection at average pricing includes caps and shirts, and golf merchandise available covers golf balls, golf gloves, tees, ball markers, divot tools, along with golf clubs and golf bags. Clubhouse restrooms are clean, with porta-johns available on the course. Golf carts are maintained and come with a club cover; cart paths are a mix of paved, gravel, and dirt. The parking is adequate with a paved parking area and a gravel addition, a self-serve bag drop is easy to find, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and very welcoming providing a great family atmosphere.

Hole 1 – Par 4 – Rating 6.33

Elevated tees sit small and level while the fairway rolls out in a slight dogleg left. Play descends from the boxes then climbs toward the target. Medium rough borders both sides with sparse trees lining the edges. A mogul begins in the rough, crosses the fairway short of the green, and two real sand bunkers guard the putting surface—one hugs the right front corner, the other spans the entire front, both with small stones. Maintained fringe rings a small green that runs fast, accepts shots well, slopes back to front, and lies flatter with fewer breaks.

Hole 2 – Par 4 – Rating 6.67

Elevated tee boxes stand small and level as the fairway rolls downhill to the green. Medium rough flanks both sides with sparse trees lining the edges.
