The clubhouse at Willow Brook Golf Club boasts several appealing amenities. The parking facilities are ample, and there’s a convenient self-serve bag drop available. When it comes to dining, the food surpasses typical golf course fare, offering a diverse menu with numerous drink options. While the selection of apparel and equipment is somewhat limited, the prices remain reasonable. The carts and cart paths are well-maintained, and the service overall is excellent. In summary, Willow Brook Golf Club provides a pleasant setting to unwind during a round or before/after play.

Begin your round on level tees of medium size. The fairway runs uphill and a slight fade right. The rough is long and there is a water hazard far right. The bunkers are real sand but unraked and the fringe is maintained. The medium size green is receptive and tiered. It putts at a medium speed.

As you can see from the photo you tee through a tree hallway from medium size, level, and tiered tees. It is all-carry to the rolling fairway over waste area. The rough is long and there are grass bunkers to avoid on the way. There is a sharp turn left to the green just before and a water hazard sitting to the right. The medium size green is sloped, receptive, and the fastest putting green on the course.

Head back to the clubhouse from level, medium size tees. This fairway is rolling and turns left not long off of the tee with long rough. There are no hazards and a maintained fringe. The last green is large, receptive, and medium in speed.

SUMMARY:

The 18-hole Willow Brook Golf Club exhibits a commendable consistency evident in its hole ratings and overall assessment as a public golf course. Playing only a total of 6,144 yards from the longest tees it is not along course, but with multiple sets of tees it can cater too golfers of all levels of play and many different skill levels.  Nevertheless, there are areas that require improvement. Despite being a good value play, its potential is hindered by issues such as sand, water hazards, and overgrowth in certain sections, preventing it from achieving a higher rating. Despite these shortcomings, the course offers a challenging layout with many appealing features. Addressing these areas of concern could elevate Willow Brook golf course to a destination course status, attracting golfers from afar.
