SUMMARY:

The layout at The Mallard Golf Course may be on the shorter side, playing only 2,973 yards – par 36 from the longest tees, but it offers an enjoyable playing experience. While it receives a slightly above-average rating overall, its charm and consistent play stand out as a hidden gem. The well-maintained bunkers set it apart, a feature not always found on a 9-hole golf course and while there are only a few water hazards for a course named after a waterfowl, they are strategically placed. It may not be known as one of the best golf courses, it is well worth a visit if you find yourself in the East Jordan or Charlevoix area in northern Michigan and are looking for a swift nine holes, The Mallard provides a course that is easily accessible and enjoyable to play. The Mallard Golf Club is family owned and operated. See our video of The Mallard Golf Club.
