SUMMARY:

Designed by Bruce Matthews, Sandy Ridge Golf Course epitomizes consistency in every aspect. From the fairways to the rough and green speeds, the conditions remain reliably uniform and generally decent. The course has little in the way of elevation changes, but sports bent grass greens and bluegrass fairways. The course has a generous amount of hardwood trees and wildlife areas providing a variety of birds habitat along with white tail deer.
There are multiple sets of tees, and it plays 6,376 yards from the longest tees. This public course forces a few blind shots, but for the most part they give you an easy way. However, certain areas like the bunkers and some water hazards require attention. They do have some great golf course deals for a single round, membership deals or multiple available and open play most of the time. Despite a few areas needing improvement, it remains a worthwhile and affordable option for golfers to stop on by for an 18-hole round. See our video of Sandy Ridge Golf Course.
