The Clubhouse and Pro Shop at Rush Lake Hills Golf Course in Pinckney, Michigan, has essential amenities that enhance the overall experience for golfers. The clubhouse serves as a hub of activity, offering a welcoming environment where players can relax before or after their rounds. Inside, you find typical golf course fare including hot dogs, snacks, candy, soda, beer and a full bar. All comes with a friendly experience and great service due to the helpful staff. The Pro Shop has a limited but average priced selection of apparel and golf equipment that includes, caps, shirts, jackets along with golf balls, gloves, tees and markers.  Both the Clubhouse and Pro Shop contribute to the overall enjoyment of a visit to Rush Lake Hills Golf Course, providing convenience and a sense of community for all who come to play.

Start your round on small and level tee blocks for this opening par 5. The rolling fairway runs uphill and doglegs right with longer and denser rough. There is a water hazard in nice shape right of the dogleg. There are no bunkers on this hole but fringe is maintained. The green is small in size with a hard surface. It is crowned and rolls with a fast speed.

Small and level tees give you a good look at the rolling, uphill fairway with a slight dogleg right. The rough is long and dense but there are no hazards on this hole. Maintained fringe surrounds the small, fast putting green that has a hard feel. The green is rolling and sloped left to right.

Your first par 3 has small, level, and elevated tees. This hole plays very downhill with no hazards and only thick, long rough guarding the medium size green. Surrounded by a maintained fringe, the green is hard to hold, rolling, tiered and sloped back to front with a fast-putting pace.

​See the flat fairway from level and small tee boxes. This fairway is edged by long, thicker, rough and there are no hazards on this hole. A maintained fringe encircles the medium size green, the surface of which is hard to hold, crowned, and rolling. It putts at a fast pace.

Hole 6 is your 2nd par 5 from small and level tees. This rolling fairway runs downhill with a long sweeping dogleg right. The rough is denser and long but there are no hazards to contend with. The green is medium size and a maintained fringe edges it. The surface is hard but putts at a medium speed. It has a rolling feel and slopes back to front.

Your 3rd par 5 comes back-to-back on this front side par 37 from level, medium size tees. The fairway is rolling, plays uphill, and doglegs left. The rough is longer and dense but again, we have no real hazards in play. The small green putts at a medium speed with a maintained fringe around it. The surface is hard, rolling and crowned.

Your 2nd par 3 is straight-forward from level, medium size tees. It plays uphill and is guarded by longer, denser rough. Here you have no hazards to worry about and the fringe is maintained. The green is hard to hold, with a slight slope back to front. It is small in size and fast in speed.

Head back to the clubhouse on the final hole which has large and level tees. The rolling fairway has long, dense rough and doglegs left. No water hazard but we do finally have some tiny, real sand bunkers near the green. The fringe is maintained around this small, hard surfaced green. It is rolling and sloped right to left. It runs at a fast speed.

Medium size, level tees start your back nine. The fairway is rolling and runs downhill. The rough is denser and longer and there is a pond water hazard left of the green as you approach. This hole has no bunkers but the fringe was not maintained and had some damage at the time of review. The green is medium in size and fast in speed with a hard, rolling feel that slopes right to left.

Hole 11 is a nice par 5 from level, medium size tee blocks. This rolling fairway roller coasters uphill and downhill as it doglegs right. The rough is long and thick but there are no hazards. A maintained fringe skirts the small green that runs at a medium speed. The green surface is hard to hold, rolling and sloped left to right.

This picturesque par 4 starts on small and level tees. Tee over a flowing water hazard to the rolling fairway that doglegs left. It is tree-lined with medium length, thick, rough. There are real sand bunkers and a maintained fringe. The green is both medium in speed and size. Here we finally have a receptive green that is rolling and sloped back to front.

The first par 3 on the back nine starts on level, medium size tees. It plays uphill as you tee off over a pond/wetlands water hazard. Bunkers have real sand and the fringe is maintained. The green is receptive, rolling and sloped back to front. It is medium in size and fast in speed.

​Level, medium size tees allow you to drive your golf ball into the rolling fairway that rises and peaks then runs downhill with a slight dogleg left. Long and thick rough edges the fairway and there are no hazards. A maintained fringe surrounds the small, receptive green. It is rolling, sloped right to left, and runs at a medium speed.

This short par 4 starts on level, medium size tee blocks. The rolling fairway runs uphill then levels out with longer, denser rough. There are no hazards, and the fringe is maintained. This small green putts at a medium pace and the surface is receptive, rolling, and sloped left to right.

The final par 3 has medium size, level tee boxes. This hole is flatter, but it is still all carry to the medium size green. With no hazards, it is guarded by only thicker, long rough. A maintained fringe edges the crowned, hard green that slopes back to front. It putts at a medium speed.

Hole 17 has small and level tees, but the kicker here is the rolling fairway that everything runs severely to the right on. There are no hazards here but the rough is dense and long. This small green has a maintained fringe and a surface that is hard to hold. It slopes back to front and left to right. Luckily, it only runs at a medium speed.

Finish your round starting on level, medium size tees on this par 5. The fairway has a slight dogleg left and is rolling with both uphill and downhill features. The rough is long and thick and the bunkers have real sand. The fringe is maintained but, at the time of review, there were some dead spots. This medium size and speed green has a receptive and rolling surface, sloping back to front.
