Riverside Golf Club Clubhouse

Clubhouse and Amenities – Rating 5.82

The clubhouse and pro shop at Riverside Golf Club & Banquet Center are comprehensive and leave nothing to be desired. Parking is ample, and while the cart paths could use some maintenance, the carts themselves are top-notch. Amenities such as a practice green, range, and chipping area are available. The pro shop offers a modest selection of apparel and equipment at reasonable prices. Light refreshments are served, alongside a diverse array of beverages. For a more extensive dining experience, guests can visit The Fairways. Throughout, excellent service is guaranteed. Full banquet services are available for your outing or event.

Hole 1 – Par 4 – Rating 7.00

Start your round on large, level tee boxes that are elevated. The rolling fairway lies downhill, with a sharp dogleg left and medium length rough. Bunkers contain real sand but do have a few small stones in them. There is a maintained fringe around the small green with a receptive, rolling, elevated surface. It slopes front to back and putts at a fast speed.

Hole 2 – Par 4 – Rating 7.14

The slightly elevated tees here are small and level. The rolling fairway runs slightly downhill with medium length rough that can be denser in areas. There is a small water hazard left of the fairway, marked by a willow tree. The real sand bunkering has a little grass, but the fringe is well-maintained. This large green is tiered, rolling and receptive. It rolls at a fast pace.

​From small but level tees, find the rolling fairway that winds its way uphill to the elevated green. Rough is medium length and the bunkers are real sand and in good shape. The fringe is maintained but there were a few dead spots. The green is medium size and speed, receptive, and rolling.

Play this pretty little par 3 from elevated, large and level tees. It plays all downhill with real sand bunkers sporting some grass, medium rough, and a maintained fringe. The green can be tough with a rolling, receptive surface sloped back to front. The green is small and runs at a fast speed.

Medium size, level tees start hole 5. Keep the drive between the trees to find the rolling, downhill fairway that doglegs right. Rough is medium in length and the bunkers are real sand. The medium size green has a maintained fringe and rolls at a medium speed. The green slopes back to front and has a receptive and rolling feel.

This 2nd par 3 on the front nine has level, medium size tees and runs slightly uphill the entire way. It has real sand bunkering and medium length rough to guard the green. Skirted by a maintained fringe, this medium size green is sloped back to front and is receptive. It putts at a fast pace.

The first par 5 on the front nine looks longer than it is from level, medium size tee blocks. The rolling fairway has medium length rough and rises uphill slightly. Fairway bunkers are good, but the greenside bunkers do have a little growing grass. A maintained fringe surrounds the fast-putting, medium size green. This receptive and rolling surface slopes back to front.

Large and level tees give you a good view of the rolling fairway that runs downhill. The rough is medium length but had a few burnt spots at the time of review. The bunkers contain real sand but do have some small stones. This large green has a maintained fringe and is sloped back to front. It is receptive, rolling, and runs at a fast speed.

Hole 9 is a tighter par 5 from large and level tees. Tree-lined with medium rough, the rolling fairway rises uphill as you near the medium size green. The bunkers have a little grass but contain real sand. The maintained fringe edges the green but has a few dead spots. The green is receptive, rolling and fast of speed.

Start the back nine from elevated, level and medium size tees. This tree-lined, rolling fairway drops downhill then back uphill to the elevated green. There is a slight dogleg right with medium rough and real sand bunkers. The fringe surrounds the large, receptive and rolling green that slopes back to front. It putts at a fast pace.

This par 4 is played from large and level tees. There is a rolling fairway that runs downhill from the tees and doglegs left. Medium rough, real sand bunkers (with a little grass) and a strategically placed green make this hole a challenge. The green is small and fast paced with a receptive and rolling feel.

The first par 3 on the back nine is played from small and level tees that were under repair at time of review. There is a flatter approach that runs downhill from the tees. Medium rough, real sand bunkers, and a strategically placed tree guard this medium size, fast-putting green. It is rolling and receptive.

The tees here are large and level to help you hit the rolling fairway that runs downhill from the tees and uphill to the green. Rough is medium in length and the bunkers, while real sand, do have a little grass in them. The green is small with a maintained fringe, has a receptive feel, a rolling surface and it putts at a medium speed.

The first par 5 on the back nine is a nice challenge from small, level tees which, at the time of review, were under repair. The rough is medium length, the bunkers are real sand, but a bit grassy. There is a pond well left of the fairway that should present no threat. The fairway is rolling, running downhill from the tees and uphill to the green. Edged by a maintained fringe, the green is medium in size and speed, with a rolling and receptive feel.

The final par 3 is fairly straight-forward from medium size tees that are level but need some attention. The par 3 plays slightly downhill with medium length rough and bunkers with grass growing to guard the medium size and speed green. The fringe is maintained, and the surface is sloped back to front, rolling, and receptive.

Medium size, level tees help on this tighter par 4. The fairway is rolling, tree-lined, and downhill with a dogleg left. The rough is medium length, and real sand bunkers are present with a little grass in them. There is a pond water hazard short and right of the green to avoid. A fringe is mostly maintained but there are a few dead spots. This green is small, receptive and rolling. It runs at a medium speed.

The final par 5 starts on large and level tees boxes. The rolling fairway runs uphill with medium rough and grassy, real sand bunkers. Encircled by a maintained fringe, the medium size green has a medium speed. Its surface slopes back to front and is receptive and rolling.

Hole 18 – Par 4 – Rating 7.00

Tee off on the final hole from large and level tee blocks. This rolling fairway doglegs right and runs downhill with medium length rough. There are some slightly grassy, real sand bunkers and a maintained fringe. This green is both medium in size and speed and sports a receptive turf that is mostly flat but does have some slight breaks.
