The clubhouse at NAHMA Golf Club exudes quaint charm, providing a pleasant middle ground for golfers. Parking is ample, and the golf riding carts are well-maintained. While the food selection extends beyond basic offerings like hot dogs, wraps, and sandwiches, it’s not a comprehensive menu. Nevertheless, the full bar offers a wide array of beverage options. The pro shop has a modest selection of hats, shirts, and essential golf equipment like balls, gloves, and tees. Service is exceptional and friendly, with owners Scott and Laura Neurohr ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Start your round on small but level tees boxes. The fairway is straight away and flat with medium length rough. There are no bunkers on the course at NAHMA Golf Club, but this first hole does have two grass moguls. The fringe is maintained around the small green with a receptive and rolling surface that is sloped back to front with a few bare spots. It runs at a medium speed.

NAHMA Golf Club Hole 3

Hole 3 – Par 5 – Rating 6.00

A maintained fringe edges this small green. The putting surface is receptive, rolling and rolls at a slow pace.

NAHMA Golf Club Hole 4

Hole 4 – Par 4 – Rating 6.80

Red: 240 yds
White: 280 yds

Small and level tees give you a great chance to land your tee shot in the right place on this par 4. The flat fairway doglegs right around a wooded area. The rough is medium in length and has maintained fringe. This green is receptive, sloped back to front, rolling, medium in size and slow in speed.

NAHMA Golf Club Hole 5

Hole 5 – Par 4 – Rating 6.00

Red: 288 yds
White: 333 yds

We consider Hole 5 as their signature hole due to design and view. From small and level tees, place your tee shot wisely for the dogleg left. The flat fairway has medium length rough, is tree-lined with some wetlands to your left and it’s long. A maintained fringe circles the small, slow putting green. The surface slopes back to front, is receptive and rolling.

NAHMA Golf Club Hole 6

Hole 6 – Par 3 – Rating 5.33

Red: 175 yds
White: 208 yds

The final par 3 is a challenge due to length and the wetlands along Big Bay De Noc to your left. The tee boxes are small, and level and the approach fairly flat. The small green is guarded by medium length rough, and anything long finds the woods. There is a maintained fringe, and the green is receptive, rolling, sloped back to front and runs at a slow pace.

NAHMA Golf Club Hole 7

Tee off from a level, small tee box on this nice par 4 dogleg left. The fairway is rolling and has medium length rough with no hazards. The medium size green has a maintained fringe, a rolling and receptive surface, and putts at a slow speed.

NAHMA Golf Club Hole 8

Hole 8 – Par 4 – Rating 5.60

Red: 304 yds
White: 370 yds

The tees here are small and level but do have a few small bare spots. The rolling fairway is sided with medium length rough and has a grass mogul smack in the middle. The hole is tree-lined with medium length rough, no hazards, and a maintained fringe. Another small green putts slow with a receptive and rolling feel, sloped back to front with a few bare spots.

NAHMA golf club hole 9

Hole 9 – Par 5 – Rating 6.40

Red: 400 yds
White: 437 yds

Your final hole is a par 5 back to the clubhouse from level, small tees. The fairway is rolling with a couple grass moguls and medium length rough. A tree line all down the left side will be a problem if challenged so err right. As you approach the green, there is a maintained fringe, and the small receptive and rolling green. The putting surface sloped back to front and runs at a slow speed.
