Huron Breeze Golf Club has a very nice club house and highly rated service trying to give a country club feel with many square feet of space. There is a bag drop and very good parking. The carts are average, and the cart paths are a cut above average. Inside there is typical golf course fare for food but very competitively priced. A full bar is available. There is not much to offer equipment wise other than the standard balls, gloves, etc., but there is an extensive apparel selection with slightly above average pricing.

Start your round on large, level tee blocks. The fairway is flat with short rough, and fades slightly left. The bunkers are real sand and the fringe is maintained. The green is receptive and large with a fairly flat surface. It putts at a medium speed.

Tee off over a maintained water hazard from large, level tees. The flat fairway has short rough, and the bunkers are real sand. A maintained fringe surrounds this large, receptive green that runs at a medium speed.

Your first par 3 has large. level tees and is straight-away. There is a wetland area left off the tee front that should not come into play. The green is guarded by short rough and a real sand bunker. The fringe is maintained. This green is receptive, large and is of medium speed.

Time for the first par 5 from level, large tees. There is a flowing water hazard that crosses the rolling fairway to avoid as the fairway doglegs right. The rough is short and the bunkers are real sand. A maintained fringe is around this large, fast green that has a receptive surface.

Medium size, level tees start this dogleg right par 4. The fairway is flat with short rough. No bunkers on this hole but there is a nice water hazard guarding the front and left of the green. The large green is fast of speed. The surface is receptive and there is a maintained fringe.

This is a pretty par 4 where you tee off over a water hazard to the flat fairway. The rough is short and the bunkers are real sand. This rolling and receptive green is large in size, and fast in speed.

Your first par 3 on the back nine is very nice with a beautiful water hazard to carry to the green. Tee off from large, level tees. The rough is short and the bunkers are real sand. The fringe surrounding the large green is maintained while the surface is hard to hold and putts at a fast speed.

Your final par 5 on the course is long and has large, level tees. There is a rolling fairway that fades left with short rough. Bunkers are real sand and the fringe is well-maintained. This green is both large and fast, and quite receptive. Don’t go over, behind the green is a water hazard waiting to ruin your score.

Medium size, level tees start this par 4 dogleg left. The fairway is mostly flat with short rough. There is a water hazard right of the fairway at the corner and the bunkers are real sand. The fringe is maintained, and the green is medium in size, smaller than most. The surface is receptive and fast of speed.

The final par 3 has large, level tees and a narrow approach. Carry to the green that is surrounded by short rough, real sand bunkers and a maintained fringe. Here’s another large green that has a receptive surface and putts at a fast speed.

Level, medium size tees start this narrow par 4. The fairway is rolling with short rough. No water hazards but there are real sand bunkers to avoid. The fringe is maintained and the green itself is large and fast, but quite receptive.

The final hole starts on level, medium size tees. The flat fairway is skirted with short rough. Two real sand bunkers guard the front and left of the green that has a maintained fringe. This large receptive green is both large in size and fast in speed.

SUMMARY:

Huron Breeze Golf Club is a beautiful course that unfortunately we reviewed on an overcast day, so the photos do not do it full justice, sorry to say. It has a consistent solid to high quality in all aspects from water and sand to fairways and greens which we consider a gem of Michigan like a little piece of golf heaven. It has enough to challenge you but is fair and accommodating to all golfers. Add to that the available amenities at the clubhouse and Huron Breeze Golf Club is a fun and quality play for any aspect of your visit.
