SUMMARY:

Built around a stand of thick mature pines, Candlestone Golf & Resort is one of West Michigan’s beautiful golf courses.  This premiere 18-hole course is in good shape, with consistent, beautiful fairways and greens.  The course features six sets of tees that provide options for multiple skill levels. The maintenance of the course seems excellent. We noticed sand traps were a little too rocky on certain holes but overall, they were in good shape.  The woodlands make for both a challenging place and one of the most beautiful 18-hole golf courses.  Good conditions were found throughout the on-site restaurant, clubhouse, new golf shop and new cart barn. Candlestone Golf & Resort offers challenging and competitive play under good course conditions and is a great place to spend a day of golf and dining. See our video of Candlestone Golf and Resort.

The greens and fringes rated the highest with a consistent overall score of 8.00 on our 10-point scale.
