The club house at Calderone Golf Club is a good place to relax prior to or after a round. There is a large outdoor covered area and inside, they provide a full bar and a limited menu of golf course style food. They also have a decent selection of apparel and smaller equipment items, all at averaging pricing. Parking is good and there is a bag drop for convenience. A practice green and other amenities such as a driving range are available. There is a starter and a ranger on course, if needed. The carts are older but solid and the cart paths are in great condition. Most days, there is a drink cart on course. Yardage books are available, and the service was outstanding.

Your round begins from level, medium size tees on the first par 5. The rolling fairway snakes a bit with slight doglegs left and right. The rough is medium length, all bunkers are real sand, deep and in great shape, and the fringe is maintained. The medium size green is receptive, rolling, and sloped back to front with a fast-putting speed.

The first par 3 starts on medium size, level tees blocks. There is a manicured approach, and it plays slightly uphill. The medium size green is guarded by medium rough and deep, real sand bunkers. A maintained fringe surrounds the putting surface, which is fast paced, rolling, receptive and sloped back to front.

The level, medium size tees allow for wide landing areas in the fairway no matter which tee you play from. The rough is medium length siding this rolling fairway. The real sand bunkers are in super shape in the fairway and near the green. Surrounding the medium size green is a well-maintained fringe. The surface is fast of speed, rolling and receptive.

From level, medium size tees, this 2nd par 3 on the front nine seems straightforward. But, it plays deceptively uphill and is guarded by medium rough and a deep, real sand bunker on the right side that can be difficult. The fringe is maintained. Good news is the medium size green is receptive, light on the breaks, sloped back to front, but still rolls at a fast speed.

This fast green is rolling and receptive.

Level, medium size tee blocks start this short par 4. Even a short drive into the rolling fairway is good on this dogleg right, if placed well. The rough is medium length.  The bunker lurking in front of the medium size green is deep with real sand, and the fringe is maintained. Beware the hidden pond lurking right.  So, lean to the left side. The green is quite fast in speed, with a rolling and receptive feel.

The fringe is maintained around this green and it has a receptive and rolling turf that rolls at a fast speed.
